专利说明:
1 LIGHTING BODY FOR A VEHICLE The invention relates to a lighting fixture for a vehicle with an elongated light guide element and a base body for fixing the light guide element. Lighting fixtures of the type mentioned above are often used in modern vehicles for daytime running lights and / or position lights, as described for example in EP 1 418 087 A2. This document shows and describes a vehicle headlamp, in which a light guide element annularly surrounds a main light of the headlamp, such as the low beam. The definition of this light guide is done there with several arranged on the light guide element locking lugs, which engage with corresponding counterparts on a cover of the headlamp. The disadvantage here, as well as in other known devices of this type that locking lugs or other fixing devices on the described light guide elements, which are usually made of highly transparent plastics, are visible from the outside as inhomogeneities, which is undesirable on the part of the vehicle manufacturers. In addition, the production of light guide elements with locking lugs is relatively expensive due to more complex tools for injection molding. In other methods of fixing such as fixing by screws or gluing, it comes to the unwanted inhomogeneities, which is avoided by the present invention. It is therefore an object of the present invention to improve a lighting fixture of the type mentioned in that an impairment of the external appearance is avoided by the fastening means at the same time reliable and stable attachment of the light guide element to a base body or a functionally identical to a main body component of a lighting fixture. To solve this problem, a lighting fixture of the type mentioned is inventively further developed such that the light guide element by means of a both sides of the light guide element fixable on the body clamping element is clamped on the body fixable. The light guide element, which decouples light coupled thereto at one or both ends uniformly along its longitudinal extent with the aid of scattering bodies formed in the light guide element, can be fastened in this luminaire according to the invention without the external appearance affecting fastener and only by the clamping action of the clamping element on the base body be held. This allows a reliable attachment of the light guide element on the base body and a particularly homogeneous illumination of the light guide element. In principle, it may be sufficient if the clamping element is in operative connection with only one or a few subregions of the longitudinal extension of the light guide element. However, it is preferably provided that the clamping element extends substantially over the entire length of the light guide element. Thus, in turn, the uniform appearance of the lighting fixture and the reliable fixing of the light guide element is served. According to a preferred variant of the present invention, it is provided that the clamping element is designed as a diaphragm, which surrounds the optical fiber element and partially covers. The clamping element delimits and covers the light guide element at its edges and, with appropriate dimensioning of the overlapping region of the diaphragm, releases only that part of the light guide element in which optimum lateral coupling of the light takes place. The determination of the light guide element by the clamping action of the clamping element is extremely effective and allows permanent fixing at very low cost. However, an improvement of the determination can be made according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, when the clamping element has on its surfaces facing the light guide element a plurality of corresponding in their shape of the outer surface of the light guide element ribs, which surround the light guide element at least partially. In this case, the light guide element is partially encompassed by the clamping element and therefore particularly securely connected to the base body. While the clamping element extends along both sides of the optical waveguide element along the longitudinal extent thereof and secures it, it is contemplated according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention that the clamping element provide a stop for the optical waveguide element at least on one of the end faces of the optical waveguide element having. A stop on at least one of the end faces of the light guide element prevents the light guide element from migrating during operation of the vehicle due to vibrations in the clamping element and thereby releases from the clamping element. At the other end face of the light guide element, the stop can also be formed by a light coupling point, which in turn interacts with a stop on the clamping element. It can also be provided that both end faces of the light guide element are designed as Lichteinkoppelstellen and these Lichteinkoppelstellen cooperate with corresponding stops on the clamping element. To further improve the storage of the light guide element, the lighting fixture according to the invention is preferably further developed in that the clamping element is assigned at least one support element arranged on the main body for the light guide element for clamping the light guide element. The support element, which is usually adapted in its outer shape of the shape of the light guide element, additionally prevents the light guide element from falling from the clamping element, and holds the light guide element during assembly exactly in that position in which the clamping element can engage around the light guide element. In order to further simplify the assembly of the individual parts of the lighting fixture according to the invention, the invention is preferably further developed such that the light guide element has at least one latching nose, which cooperates with a corresponding counterpart on the base body latching. According to this preferred variant, the light guide element rests not only on the at least one support element, but is additionally secured by the latching lug, so that the light guide element can not stand out from the base body, in particular from the at least one support element before being fixed by the clamping element. However, the detent serves only the provisional attachment before and during assembly of the lighting fixture according to the invention and 4/18 4 contributes not or only slightly to the final definition of the light guide element. Preferably, the light guide element and the clamping element are covered by a cover fixed to the base body, which holds the clamping element in a position clamping the light guide element. Such a cover on the one hand protects the lighting body against moisture and dirt and on the other hand can be shaped so that the determination of the cover on the body leads to a further fixation of the clamping element on the body, for example, if both clamping element and cover set in one and the same groove on the body become. According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the lighting fixture is developed to the effect that the clamping element has at least one latching lug, which cooperates with a corresponding counterpart on the base body detent. This ensures a positive fixing of the clamping element and a quick assembly of the lighting fixture according to the invention. In principle, the lighting fixture according to the invention may be formed as an independent component, which is connected in any conceivable way with a vehicle. However, it is preferred that the base body is integrally formed with a vehicle part, in particular a bumper or connectable to this. According to this preferred embodiment of the present invention, the bumper, which is usually an injection molded part, already form the base body or provide corresponding receptacles for the main body, so that the clamping element, the light guide element and optionally the cover fixed directly to the bumper or with this can be. Furthermore, it is also conceivable that the lighting fixture according to the invention is installed in a headlight on the edge of the same, in which case the cover of the headlight acts as a cover in the sense of the present invention. However, the installation in a vehicle headlamp can also be done as a ring-shaped lighting fixture around a main light function, such as the low beam, in which case a separate non-cover is required. However, 5/18 5 must then, in order to set the light guide element, the clamping element or the diaphragm have locking means such as locking lugs The invention will be explained in more detail with reference to an embodiment schematically illustrated in the drawing. In this show 1 is a plan view of a lighting fixture according to the invention, 2 is a perspective view of the base body and the light guide element of the lighting fixture according to the invention, 4 shows a sectional view through the lighting fixture according to the invention, FIG. 5 shows a sectional view through an alternative lighting fixture according to the present invention, FIG. 6 is a perspective view of a preferred embodiment of the clamping element, 7 shows a sectional view of a preferred embodiment of the clamping element according to FIG. 6 with the light guide element clamped in, and FIG. 8 shows a perspective view of a stop on the cover on an end face of the light guide element. In Fig. 1, an inventive lighting fixture is denoted by 1. The lighting body 1 consists essentially of a base body 2, a light guide element 3, a clamping element or a panel 4 and a cover 5, wherein the base body 2 can be connected by means not shown fastening devices, for example, with a bumper of a vehicle or integrally with this may be formed to emit light over the entire length of the light guide element 3. In Fig. 2, only the main body 2 and the light guide element 3 are now shown and it can be seen that the light guide element 3 rests on support elements 6, which are formed on the base body 2. With 7 fastening devices of the lighting fixture 1 are designated. An end face of the light guide element 3 is designated by 8. 6/18 6 Fig. 3 corresponds to Fig. 2 with the difference that the clamping element or the aperture 4 is placed on the base body to set the light guide element 3 on the base body 2. For this purpose, the diaphragm 4 has extensions 9 which engage in corresponding recesses on the base body 2. In the sectional view of Fig. 4, all the essential parts of the lighting fixture 1 according to the invention are now recognizable. The support member 6 on the base body 2 forms a support for the light guide element 3, which is clamped by the clamping element 4. The clamping element 4 rests with the extensions 9 in the base body and is held in the corresponding recess by the cover 5, which is glued during assembly. The cover 5 may also be fixed by means of locking elements in the corresponding recess, for which counterparts 14 may be provided, as can be seen in Figures 2 and 3. However, it is preferred that the cover 5 is glued, or that these Festlegungsvarianten be combined. The cover is completely or partially transparent, but completely transparent at least in the region of the light outcoupling surface of the light guide element. It can be clearly seen in FIG. 4 that the optical waveguide element 3 comprises scattering bodies 10 which serve to decouple light guided along the longitudinal axis of the optical waveguide element 3 perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis, as symbolized by the arrows 11. In the alternative embodiment, which is shown in Fig. 5, it can be seen that the extensions 9 of the clamping element 4 may be formed as locking lugs, which interact with corresponding counterparts 12 on the base body 2 and cause a locking of the clamping element 4 on the base body 2. 6, a plurality of ribs 13 can be seen, which are arranged on the clamping element 4 at its surfaces facing the light guide element 3 and correspond in shape to the outer surface of the light guide element 3, said ribs 13 at least partially surround the light guide element 3 (see FIG 7). 8 shows the diaphragm or the clamping element 4 on an end face of the optical waveguide element 3 and shows that a stop for the front side of the optical fiber element 3 is formed here, which slipping of the optical waveguide element 3 in the longitudinal direction of the optical waveguide element 3 prevented. 18.8
